18-Year-Old Kaden DeGeorge Injured in Bicycle Accident on Skyway [Chico, CA]

Chico, CA (September 23, 2022) – At about 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, 18-year-old Kaden DeGeorge sustained injuries in a bicycle accident on Skyway.

The CHP says Degene Dean was driving a northbound vehicle on Skyway and was approaching the crosswalk on the Highway 99 onramp.

At the same time, Kaden DeGeorge was riding a bike on the sidewalk and was approaching the crosswalk. He turned left onto Skyway and crashed into Dean’s Toyota. 

The impact of the collision threw Kaden DeGeorge off the bike.

Immediately, the paramedics rushed DeGeorge to Enloe Medical Center for moderate injuries. Officers say he was not wearing a helmet. 

Moreover, Degene Dean did not sustain injuries and the authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the Skyway traffic collision.
