Troopers Investigate Benton County Hit-and-Run Crash
Kennewick, WA (July 20, 2024) – An 18-year-old pedestrian was injured following a hit-and-run crash on East 3rd Avenue early Thursday morning.
The authorities responded before 4 a.m. to the traffic accident at the 1600 Block area in Benton County.
Investigators said a dark colored sedan had struck an 18-year-old while he was walking with his girlfriend.
The vehicle did not stop and drove West on 3rd towards State Route 397.
Immediately, the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigating officers are working to identify the involved vehicle.
