Jaime Ramirez-Pacheco Involved in DUI Head-On Crash on State Route 28
Wenatchee, WA (January 22, 2022) On Friday, a 17-year-old boy was injured in an apparent DUI crash on State Route 28.
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) says that around 10:30 a.m. 21-year-old Jaime Ramirez-Pacheco was traveling west on Highway 28.
WSP says that Ramirez-Pacheco’s vehicle was seen crossing the centerline then hitting the teenager head-on.
Moreover, the crash happened just below South Kentucky Avenue.
Furthermore, the teen and Ramirez-Pacheco were both injured.
The WSP continues to investigate the accident. The driver will possibly face DUI charges.
Moreover, we are reminding all drivers that operating a vehicle is a responsibility that should not be taken lightly.
Put all distractions away and be careful around other travelers. Also, keep a safe distance from other vehicles around you.
Thus, by being a defensive driver, you can minimize the risks of accidents.
Most importantly, do not drink if you are driving. Drinking and driving are not a good combination.
