17-Year-Old Girl Arrested After Stolen Car Crash on Marine View Drive [Des Moines, WA]

Stolen Car Involved in Head-On Collision Near Kent-Des Moines Road

 
DES MOINES, WA (December 26, 2019) – Police arrested a 17-year-old girl after a stolen car crash on Marine View Drive on Thursday night.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident happened just after 9:00 PM.
 
Reports showed that the girl stole a car near 24th Avenue South. The officer tried to pull the girl over, but she sped off down Marine View Drive, where she struck a curb and crashed head-on with another car.
 
The paramedics confirmed that the driver of the other vehicle did not sustain injuries in the incident. The girl was taken to the hospital for a check-up.
 
Police booked her into the King County Juvenile Corrections center for investigation of possessing a stolen vehicle.
