1 Killed and 1 Hospitalized in Lamont Auto Accident on Hall Road and Myrtle Avenue
LAMONT, CA (March 3, 2022) – Wednesday night, a 17-year-old boy died in a solo crash on Hall Road and Myrtle Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Hall Road, east of Myrtle Avenue.
Reports revealed that a 2014 Acura veered right over a curb and struck a block wall and iron fence.
Moreover, responders pronounced the 17-year-old male driver dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported a passenger of the vehicle to Kern Medical with major injuries.
Furthermore, officials confirmed that both occupants of the vehicle failed to wear their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Meanwhile, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
