16-Year-Old Girl Dies in Vehicle Crash on Ingraham Street [San Diego, CA]

Ingraham Street Crash in San Diego Leaves Teenager Dead

 
San Diego, CA (March 29, 2021) – On Friday, a 16-year-old girl died in a vehicle crash on Ingraham Street near Dana Landing Road.
 
The fatal accident happened at about 4:45 p.m. in Mission Bay.
 
Apparently, the car she was a passenger in crashed into stopped traffic and overturned near Sea World.
 
Officers said the victim was in the front seat of a 2008 Ford Fusion, driven by another 16-year-old girl.
 
As the driver crossed the bridge, she noticed traffic stopped and drifted into the other lane.
 
As a result, the Fusion crashed with a Ford Escape SUV and a Nissan Sentra sedan and turned over.
 
Unfortunately, the unidentified victim suffered major head trauma and died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the teen driver and the 23-year-old man driving the Sentra did not incur injuries. On the other hand, the Escape’s driver, a 26-year-old woman, complained of pain in her face.
 
Officers closed Ingraham Street in both directions between Dana Landing Road and Vacation Road near Ski Beach.
