1 Injured in Redondo Beach Bicycle Accident

 
REDONDO BEACH, CA (September 21, 2022) – Saturday night, 15-year-old Lebron Evans suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash in Redondo Beach.
 
The incident occurred when a pickup truck driver struck Evans while riding his bike in Redondo Beach. Then, the driver fled the scene and remained at large.
 
Meanwhile, responders transported 15-year-old Lebron Evans to a hospital.
 
A video revealed that the crash partially lodge the teen and his bicycle under the truck’s front grille. Then, the driver didn’t stop and continued driving, dragging Evans about one block before finally stopping.
 
Lebron Evans managed to dislodge himself from his bike and scrambled to the sidewalk as the truck finally stops. Then, the truck driver backs up to remove the lodged bicycle before driving away.
 
To help cover the victim’s hospital bills, his mother set up a GoFundMe campaign as he continues recovering.
