Teenage Bicyclist Hospitalized after Collision with Car near Cedar Drive
LIVERMORE, CA (December 17, 2018) – A teenager was injured Monday afternoon following a bicycle collision on Murrieta Boulevard.
According to the Livermore Police Department, the incident happened near Cedar Drive, at about 2:00 PM. The 14-year-old bicyclist was riding north on the sidewalk when a southbound vehicle struck the victim.
Emergency responders transported the bicyclist to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Further updates on the victim’s current medical condition were not immediately provided. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
