Teen Seriously Hurt in San Francisco Collision on John Muir Drive
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 18, 2019) – A 14-year-old girl suffered life-threatening injuries after a pedestrian accident in San Francisco on Friday, March 15.
According to the police, at around 6:15 p.m., a woman in a black Mercedes struck the girl as she crossed the street in the 600 block of John Muir Drive, near the west side of Lake Merced.
Paramedics transported the girl to a hospital with serious injuries. She was out with her mother walking their dog when the incident happened, police stated. The girl’s mother was also rushed to a hospital with minor injuries.
The reason behind the accident is still under investigation. However, those who live in the neighborhood said that vehicles are always driving way too fast.
