14 Injured in Van Crash on 60th Street [Lancaster, CA]

Passenger Van Involved in Major Accident near Avenue F

 
LANCASTER, CA (April 6, 2019) – At least 14 people were injured after a van crash on West 60th Street, Saturday afternoon at 12:12 PM.
 
The California Highway Patrol located the accident near the intersection of 60th Street and Avenue F. Based on an initial report, the involved vehicle was a passenger van. It was not yet known if there were other parties involved in the incident.
 
Two victims had to be extricated from the wreckage and were transported to a local hospital. After that, they were listed in critical condition, while five others were said to have major injuries.
 
In addition, six people with minor injuries were also taken to the hospital. One person declined to be treated at the scene.
 
Clearing and cleaning operations were required following the collision. An investigation is ongoing to identify the manner and the cause of the accident. However, no further details have been made available.
