134 Freeway Fatal Collision Claims 3 Lives and Injures 3 [Glendale, CA]

Glendale, CA, CA (August 12, 2022) On Thursday evening, a fatal collision on 134 Freeway claimed 3 lives and injured 3 others.

According to the LAFD, a Ford Expedition drifted off the freeway and fell off the gap between 2 bridges onto North Figueroa Street below at around 6:55 p.m.

Reports say that the SUV wreck trapped 5 people inside. Los Angeles and Pasadena firefighters responded immediately to help rescue the occupants.

Officials say that a man, a woman, and an 11-year-old female child died at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported a 55-year-old man and 36-year-old woman to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center in critical conditions.

Furthermore, rescuers found a 6-year-old girl on the freeway, the crash ejected the girl from the SUV. Rescuers transported her to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Authorities are investigating the crash and have not released details on the names of the victims at this time.

The collision closed the eastbound side of the freeway for around an hour or so.
