13-Year-Old Boy Injured in Car-Motorcycle Crash on State Route 2 [Wilbur, WA]

Wilbur Vehicle Crash Under Investigation

Wilbur, WA (August 4, 2024) – A 13-year-old boy was injured in a car-motorcycle crash on State Route 2 Thursday night.

It was about 7 p.m. when the traffic accident happened on milepost 222.

WSP officers said a car attempted to turn into a Dollar General parking lot when the motorcyclist tried to pass the car that resulted in a collision.

The medical rescuers airlifted the motorcyclist to a hospital while the 13-year-old boy who was a passenger in the car was transported by ground to an area hospital. 

While the car driver was not injured in the collision, both vehicles were totaled from the crash scene. 

Officers said the motorcyclist could face charges of second-degree negligent driving.
