13-Year-Old Boy Dies in Suspected DUI Crash on Douglas Falls Road [Colville, WA]

Colville, WA (March 07, 2022) On Saturday, a suspected DUI crash on Douglas Falls Road claimed the life of a 13-year-old boy.

The Stevens County Sheriff says that the fatal crash happened at about 2 p.m. on Douglas Falls Road north of Colville.

Meanwhile, authorities arrested Colville resident, 36-year-old Chad Warren.

Officials say Warren is facing charges of vehicular homicide.

Police say that Warren’s vehicle struck the 13-year-old, who was riding a skateboard.

Authorities say that the boy died at the scene.

Police are investigating the crash and have requested a search warrant for Warren’s blood and vehicle.

Warren is suspected of driving impaired at the time of the crash.
