12-Year-Old Girl Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on 104th Street East [Midland, WA]

Midland, WA (January 16, 2022) – On Saturday, a 12-year girl dies while another 12-year girl sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on 104th Street East.

The fatal collision happened at the intersection with 25th Avenue East.

Reports said that the two girls were walking when a flatbed pick-up struck them.

One of the girls died at the scene while the emergency responders rushed the other to a hospital in critical condition.

The vehicle immediately fled the scene after the fatal incident.

Moreover, the officers later found the suspect vehicle but they are still working to identify the driver involved in the hit-and-run crash on 104th Street East.
