11-Year-Old Critically Injured in Fifth Street East Collision [Lancaster, CA]

Lancaster, CA (October 29, 2023) – An 11-year-old boy was critically injured following a Fifth Street East collision Friday night.

Investigators said the boy was crossing the street when a black vehicle struck him and fled the scene.

The victim was airlifted to a hospital where in critical but stable condition.

Moreover, the driver of a second vehicle who was hit by the suspect or by debris from the collision stayed at the scene.

Officers are still investigating.
