Several Injured in Wenatchee Crash on Sunset Highway
WENATCHEE, WA (July 3, 2020) – Tuesday afternoon, eleven people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Sunset Highway.
The authorities received a report of the crash involving a semi, several vehicles, and a separate crash at 3:38 p.m.
According to Trooper John Bryant of WSP, one of the injured sustained critical injuries. Meanwhile, two of them sustained serious injuries.
Furthermore, the crash led to the closure of Sunset Highway north of East Wenatchee.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies, Washington State Patrol, and fire and aid crews all responded to the crash scene.
At this time, the police haven’t determined the cause of the crash.
Meanwhile, the police revealed that the crash occurred at milepost 129. It’s just 2-and-a-half miles outside East Wenatchee City limits.
