Calabasas, CA (July 15, 2022) On Friday, a female driver was fatally struck by a bus on the 101 Freeway.

The CHP says, an SUV driven by the woman stalled north of Parkway Calabasas at around 7:39 p.m.

Afterward, a bus struck the woman as she stepped out of her stalled vehicle.

Officials pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

Moreover, the crash caused traffic to stall until 8:30 p.m. when traffic moved again.

Authorities are investigating the incident and have not released further information about the crash.
