At Least 10 People Sustained Injuries in Oak Hills Christmas Day Accident
OAK HILLS, CA (December 27, 2018) — Icy conditions are likely to blame for a pileup crash involving dozens of vehicles on Tuesday, December 25.
The crash occurred at around 6:30 a.m. on the northbound 15 Freeway just south of Oak Hill Road.
Although the exact number of vehicles involved was not immediately confirmed, witnesses said that more than 30 vehicles were part of the Christmas Day crash.
The California Highway Patrol incident logs stated that 10 people were rushed to various hospitals.
Four people sustained minor injuries and were taken to Desert Valley Hospital, four others were rushed to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, one person to Victor Valley Global Medical Center, and one person to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
The freeway was completely closed for several hours and reopened close to 10 am.
