1-Year-Old Legend Girard and Another Killed in Domenigoni Parkway Crash [Menifee, CA]

Menifee, CA (October 14, 2021) – Earlier today, 1-year-old Legend Girard of San Jacinto and a 16-year-old died, while officers arrested 18-year-old Logan Schell of Corona in a crash on Domenigoni Parkway.The authorities received the crash report at about 5:20 p.m. near Lindenberger Road. 

Investigating officers said a Chevrolet Silverado truck the children were riding in and a Ford F-150 pickup, were both westbound on Domenigoni Parkway.Suddenly, Shell’s Ford drifted out of its lane and hit the Chevrolet’s driver’s side.

“As a result of the collision, the Chevrolet lost control, crossed over the center divider, and rolled onto its side where the two juveniles were ejected from the cab of the truck,” officers said.

Unfortunately, Girard and the 16-year-old, both died at the crash scene.

Meanwhile, the Chevrolet’s driver suffered minor injuries and declined medical treatment while two passengers in that truck sustained minor injuries. Rescuers took them to a hospital.

Shell did not suffer injuries from the accident. Officers do not believe him to have been under the influence at the time of the crash.Moreover, the authorities booked Shell on suspicion of misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. Jail records show he was cited and released.
