1 Dead and 1 Hurt in San Diego Car Accident
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 19, 2019) – A driver died in a car collision on March 18 at the intersection of 47th Street and Hilltop Drive.
The crash involving two Toyota Camrys happened at about 2:30 p.m. just south of Highway 94 near Holy Cross Cemetery.
A 36-year-old female drove a northbound red Camry on 47th Street at a green light. At the same time, a 62-year-old female driver of a westbound white Camry didn’t stop for the red light. As a result, the 36-year-old driver T-boned the white Camry.
Medical responders took the white Camry’s driver to a hospital. Unfortunately, it’s where she later succumbed to her injuries. Meanwhile, the other driver received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
