Unidentified Victim Hurt in a Car Crash near Holly Street in Redwood City
REDWOOD CITY, CA (March 31, 2020) – Sunday afternoon, one victim was injured in an auto accident that took place on Highway 101.
California Highway Patrol received reports of the collision around 2:09 p.m. Dispatchers arrived on the highway near Holly Street shortly after.
Two sedans were involved in the accident. They allegedly struck each other in the middle of the road. However, the events leading up are currently unclear.
In addition, one of the vehicle’s airbags launched during the crash. One person sustained injuries although it was not yet disclosed how severe the injury was.
The surrounding area on Highway 101 was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
At this time, the CHP is still investigating the exact cause of the crash.
