Injury Reported in Ferndale Multi-Vehicle Crash
Ferndale, WA (April 17, 2024) – At least a person was injured following a semi-truck crash on Interstate 5 before noon Tuesday.
The authorities responded at about 10:45 a.m. to the collision on the northbound freeway, north of the Portal Way interchange. Officers said the collision also involved a car and a trailer.
An injured person was taken to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center via ambulance.
Moreover, investigating officers said the car rested in the cable barrier in the median and the semi-truck was dozens of feet off the road to the east.
The traffic accident resulted in 1-mile traffic backup extending south of the Main Street interchange.
