1 Transported in Hit-and-Run Crash on Austin Street [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (February 25, 2024) – A pedestrian sustained injuries following a hit-and-run crash on Austin Street Sunday morning.

It was before 2:30 a.m. when the traffic accident unfolded in the area of Ninth Street.

SAPD officers were investigating an unrelated collision when a driver in a red truck drove through the accident scene and struck a pedestrian. 

The authorities tried to located the red truck but lost it onto the highway.

Immediately, the paramedics rushed the pedestrian to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers said the driver would face multiple charges once caught.
