According to the Washington State Patrol, a man required hospitalization after sustaining serious but non life-threatening injuries following a car-pedestrian crash on 90 Freeway eastbound in Spokane Valley.
The Spokane Valley Fire Department revealed that the two-vehicle crash occurred at milepost 288 on 90 Freeway near Argonne Road.
The WSP added that the man who was driving had noticed his hood unlatching. He stopped and exited his car to tend to the hood. However, a vehicle struck his car from behind, and he was hit by his own vehicle.
