SAUGUS, CA (October 30, 2019) – A person sustained serious injuries in a pedestrian accident on Plum Canyon Road on September 27.
 
The hit-and-run involving a pedestrian occurred about 6:15 a.m. on Plum Canyon Road and Heller Circle, stated Lt. Doug Mohrhoff with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
 
“It was a hit-and-run,” Mohrhoff added.
 
In addition, the Sheriff’s officials described the victim as a male in his 30s.
 
“He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. However, he is anticipated to survive,” Mohrhoff revealed.
 
The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station is currently handling the investigation of the crash.
