PHOENIX, AZ (September 12, 2019) – A person sustained serious injuries after a car accident on 10 Freeway on September 11.
 
The car accident occurred at 11:00 p.m. when a sedan traveled at around 20 mph suffered a flat tire. Another vehicle traveling at freeway speeds then struck him.
 
The person sustained life-threatening injuries and went to Abrazo West Hospital.
 
The crash left extensive debris on the freeway and led authorities to close all westbound lanes of 10 Freeway near Dysart Road but have already reopened.
 
Authorities are still investigating the crash.
