1 Person Stuck in Boyle Heights Car Accident
BOYLE HEIGHTS, CA (March 25, 2019) – A person got stuck inside a vehicle after a car crash on southbound 5 Freeway near Fourth Street on March 21.
The incident involving a semitrailer occurred at around 3:00 p.m. The wreckage trapped one person. Hence, firefighters extricated that person.
The collision closed multiple traffic lanes. Authorities advised the drivers to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
Fortunately, at 4:38 p.m., CHP confirmed that the traffic lanes on the southbound 5 Freeway near Fourth Street have since reopened.
The collision remains under investigation.
