El Cajon, CA (August 27, 2020) – On Thursday, at least one person got seriously injured in a head-on crash on La Cresta Boulevard.
 
California Highway Patrol Officer Jim Bettencourt said the incident was reported just after 8:35 a.m. near Mountain View Road. He added that at least one person was taken to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
 
Witnesses said a red sedan and a white van were involved in the crash.
 
Moreover, the accident blocked both directions of traffic on the two-lane road. A tow truck arrived at around 9:10 a.m. to help clear the roadway.
