Fatality Reported in Oroville Pedestrian Crash on Oro Dam Boulevard
OROVILLE, CA (January 28, 2021) – Monday night, a person died in a pedestrian accident on Oro Dam Boulevard.
The Oroville Police officers came to a pedestrian versus vehicle crash at about 10:21 p.m. It happened on January 25th at 970 Oro Dam Boulevard near the establishment called “Fosters Freeze.”
Upon the officers’ arrival, they located a man with injuries from the crash with the Honda Accord.
According to officers, the man walked across the road as the eastbound vehicle traveled on Oro Dam Boulevard. However, the events that have led up to the crash remain unknown.
Meanwhile, the authorities confirmed that the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries. Moreover, two people occupied the vehicle during the crash. Also, officers do not suspect that the driver was intoxicated.
During the investigation, the crash scene was closed for an hour.
Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the victim.
