1 Dead in Corona Crash on 91 Freeway and Main Street
CORONA, CA (April 18, 2021) – Saturday night, a person died in an accident on 91 Freeway and Main Street in Corona.
The incident occurred at 5:53 p.m. on the eastbound 91 Freeway, west of Main Street.
According to some witnesses, a red Ford minivan driver traveled recklessly before the collision. Meanwhile, a pedestrian was down in the fast lane.
The authorities said that a white sedan, blue minivan, blue SUV, orange pickup, and silver minivan all stopped at the scene. However, they haven’t confirmed which vehicle played a role in the crash.
Meanwhile, authorities called for a coroner at 6:25 p.m. Meanwhile, the American Medical Response transported two people to hospitals.
Also, authorities issued a SigAlert at 6:07 p.m. which closed both Fastrack lanes and lanes 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the eastbound Riverside Freeway. Also, the incident led authorities to divert traffic off the freeway at Lincoln Avenue.
