1 Dead in Whittier Multi-Vehicle Accident on Mar Vista Street

 
WHITTIER, CA (June 18, 2019) – A person died in a multi-vehicle accident on Mar Vista Street on June 16.
 
The three-vehicle crash occurred on Mar Vista Street and Colima Road. Police received reports of the crash at 2:47 p.m.
 
Whittier Police Lt. Aaron Ruiz said that an eastbound vehicle on Mar Vista rear-ended the car in front of it. He added that both vehicles got struck by a southbound vehicle on Colima Road.
 
Ruiz also said that responders transported one person to a hospital where he died. An unknown number of people suffered some injuries.
