PHOENIX, AZ (April 2, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, a person died in a tragic car crash near 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road.

The Phoenix police said that the crash occurred at about 3:15 a.m. near 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road.

According to reports, a car struck a power pole. Upon the officers’ arrival, they found a woman and two men inside the vehicle with injuries.

Then, responders took all of them to the hospital in critical condition.

Officers confirmed that the woman later succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

Moreover, the men are expected to survive.

A video from the scene revealed that a car overturned and appeared to hit the power pole.

Also, the incident caused a power outage for almost 200 customers in the area. Moreover, it has since been restored.

The authorities suspected that impairment may have played a role. However, the authorities continued to investigate the cause of the crash.
