1 Dead in Pierce County Accident on State Route 706 and 314th Avenue
PIERCE COUNTY, WA (January 30, 2022) – Saturday night, a person died in a pedestrian crash on State Route 706 and 314th Avenue.
The incident happened just after 7:30 p.m. on State Route 706 at 314th Avenue East.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Robert Reyer said that the victim died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the authorities arrested the driver for driving under influence.
As a result of the crash, the road remained closed for an extended period.
