FRESNO, CA (June 6, 2020) – Early Friday morning, a person died in an auto crash on Highway 198 near Lemoore.
 
The incident occurred at about 3:00 a.m. on Highway 198 and 15th Avenue near Houston Avenue, between Lemoore and Armona.
 
According to the officials, a white car struck the center divider and was engulfed with fire.
 
After the authorities arrived, they declared a person dead at the scene. At this time, the number of people inside the vehicle during the crash remains unknown.
 
Meanwhile, the police shut down the highway for more than an hour while the Lemoore police administer traffic control. The crash remains under investigation.
