1 Dead in Sahuarita Car Crash on Duval Mine Road and La Cañada
SAHUARITA, AZ (October 17, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, a person died in a two-vehicle accident on Duval Mine Road and La Cañada.
According to reports, Sahuarita Police Department officers came to the scene at about 1:30 p.m. The incident occurred at the intersection of Duval Mine Road and La Cañada.
When the officers arrived, they located a 94-year-old woman down on the ground. Reports said that had been ejected from a car.
Despite life-saving efforts, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed her identity due to pending family notification.
Moreover, the drivers involved in the collision required hospitalization but are expected to survive.
