1 Dead and 4 Hurt in Phoenix Auto Accident on Interstate 17 near Pinnacle Peak Road
PHOENIX, AZ (May 30, 2021) – Sunday morning, a person died and four suffered injuries in a crash on Interstate 17 near Pinnacle Peak Road.
According to the reports, the fatal incident happened on Interstate 17 near Pinnacle Peak Road.
The initial reports revealed that a car struck a wall, “causing subsequent collisions in the area,” officials revealed.
As a result, one man succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, responders took a 34-year-old woman to the hospital in serious condition.
Also, they took three others, two men and a woman, to the hospital in stable condition.
The crash led to the closure of southbound lanes of Interstate 17 at Happy Valley Road for several hours. However, the roads have since reopened.
