Driver Injured in San Diego Traffic Accident on Boston Avenue and 28th Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 5, 2021) – Tuesday morning, a person sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Boston Avenue and 28th Street.
According to Officer Sarah Foster of the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. Moreover, it happened on Boston Avenue and South 28th Street.
Reports revealed that a southbound San Diego Gas & Electric Mitsubishi Outlander rear-ended a San Diego Unified School District bus. Then, the officers noted that the bus stopped at a red light when the crash happened.
Furthermore, paramedics transported the SDG&E Van driver to UC San Diego Medical Center with critical injuries.
Meanwhile, officials confirmed that the bus had no students aboard at the time of the crash. Also, the bus driver sustained no injuries in the incident.
