One Hurt in Sonoma County Car Accident
SONOMA COUNTY, CA (May 2, 2019) – A person sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle collision involving three vehicles on Highway 116 on May 1.
The collision occurred around 10:00 a.m. on Highway 116, also known as Stage Gulch Road, near Arnold Drive, west of Schelville. The incident to the closure of the busy rural route for more than an hour.
Around 11:30 a.m., the closed road finally reopened.
Meanwhile, an ambulance brought one person to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. The CHP confirmed that the collision caused injuries.
According to a caller, a vehicle moved into traffic from a side road and caused the collision while they’re driving on Highway 116.
Reports revealed that a woman got stuck in her damaged sedan and people stopped to free her.
