Injuries Sustained in Fallbrook Auto Accident on South Mission Road and Green Canyon Road
FALLBROOK, CA (February 15, 2021) – Saturday morning, a person suffered injuries in a head-on crash on South Mission Road and Green Canyon Road.
The collision between a full-size can and a minivan happened before 9:15 a.m. It occurred on South Mission Road at Green Canyon Road, said North County Fire Protection District spokesperson Capt. John Choi.
According to Choi, one of the vehicles suffered “major damage,” in the crash. Moreover, responders took one of the drivers to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido. The patient sustained “not life-threatening, but significant” injuries.
Meanwhile, the other driver sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.
Also, the crash shut down South Mission Road in both directions for about 30 minutes.
