Injuries Reported in Everson Auto Accident on Lawrence Road
EVERSON, WA (April 25, 2021) – Friday morning, a person suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Lawrence Road in Everson.
The incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. in the 6300 block of Lawrence Road.
Also, Washington State Patrol Trooper Rocky Oliphant revealed that a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta sedan drove into the rear of a flatbed trailer connected to a semi truck. Moreover, Oliphant said that the truck and trailer stopped in the area to unload.
Meanwhile, Whatcom County Fire District 1 Division Chief Darren Branum confirmed that they airlifted one patient. Then, they transported the person to PeaceHealth St Joseph’s Medical Center under basic life support (BLS) protocol with non-life-threatening injuries.
Also, troopers shut down the road until around 11:40 a.m. for the investigation.
At this time, the authorities haven’t confirmed any citations or pending charges.
