Bakersfield, CA (June 18, 2022) On Friday evening, a person died and another was hurt in a 2-vehicle crash on Highway 58.

According to the CHP say the fatal head-on crash happened at around 8:15 p.m. west of General Beale Road.

Authorities pronounced a person dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported at least one person to the hospital.
