ANAHEIM, CA (July 7, 2021) – Early Tuesday morning, a person died in a wrong-way crash on 91 Freeway near Harbor Boulevard.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 1:16 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on the eastbound 91 Riverside (91) Freeway.
 
Reports revealed that a truck traveling the wrong way collided with a black Mercedes Benz.
 
Furthermore, CHP confirmed that one person died in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics said that a male victim sustained a compound leg fracture. Also, another male was laying down in the number 2 lane of the 91 Freeway. Also, responders extricated the unconscious driver of the Mercedes. Several people were also reported to be inside the Mercedes at the time of the crash.

Authorities issued a SigAlert for lanes 2, 3, and 4 of the eastbound Riverside Freeway at around 1:42 a.m.
