1 Killed in Otay Mesa Auto Accident on Kerns Street
OTAY MESA, CA (November 1, 2021) – Sunday morning, a person died in a street race crash on Kerns Street.
According to San Diego Police Department Officer Sarah Foster, the incident happened at around 6:00 a.m. Moreover, it occurred at the 8900 block of Kerns Street.
Reports revealed that a Mustang involved in a drag race lost control and went up a sidewalk. Then, it struck a bystander who was watching the race. Also, the vehicle collided with a motorcycle and a water hydrant.
Moreover, responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Furthermore, officials confirmed that the authorities haven’t made any arrests as of this time.
