1 Killed in San Bernardino County Auto Accident on Highway 138 near Rastall Road
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA (August 2, 2021) – Sunday morning, a person died in a fiery crash on Highway 138 near Rastall Road.
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on Highway 138 just north of the Cajon Pass.
Reports revealed that the crash involved a jack-knifed big rig and a pickup truck.
Furthermore, responding CHP officers said that the pickup and the big rig toppled over onto the highway. Then, it started catching fire after the crash.
Moreover, responders confirmed that the pickup driver remained inside the flaming vehicle.
Meanwhile, officers said that it is still unknown if the big rig driver sustained injuries in the crash.
Also, all lanes of the highway have long since reopened.
