1 Killed in Douglas County Auto Accident on Highway 97 near Chelan Falls
DOUGLAS COUNTY, WA (April 5, 2021) – Thursday noon, a person died in a crash on Highway 97 near Chelan Falls.
According to Washington State Patrol Trooper John Bryant, the incident involved a car and a four-wheeler. Moreover, it occurred 15 miles south of Chelan Falls in Douglas County at around 1:41 p.m.
Furthermore, authorities confirmed that one person died in the crash.
Also, the crash blocked Highway 97, south of Chelan Falls.
Moreover, officers reopened Highway 97A as an alternative route. At this time, additional details about the crash remains unavailable. Once additional details becomes available, the public will be notified.
