1 Killed in Hawthorne Auto Accident on 405 Freeway near El Segundo Boulevard
HAWTHORNE, CA (May 5, 2021) – On Tuesday morning, a person died in a two-vehicle crash on 405 Freeway near El Segundo Boulevard.
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident involved a Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro. Moreover, it occurred at around 3:00 a.m. on 405 Freeway near El Segundo Boulevard.
Reports revealed that both vehicles came to rest at their side after the crash.
Furthermore, responders attended to an unconscious male inside the Mustang.
Also, officials diverted all northbound traffic from 405 Freeway to 105 Freeway to give way to crews clearing the scene. All lanes have long since reopened.
