1 Killed and 2 Hurt in Los Angeles Shooting and Auto Accident on Hooper and Slauson Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 1, 2021) – Monday afternoon, a person died in a shooting incident following a crash on Hooper and Slauson Avenue.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department said that a vehicle and pedestrian crash happened at around 3:05 p.m. Moreover, it occurred near the intersection of Hooper and Slauson avenues.
When the responding deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department arrived, they found three people with gunshot wounds.
Thus, paramedics transported two victims to an area hospital in unknown condition. Then, responders treated the third victim at the scene.
Moreover, one of the victims, an adult male, died at the hospital from injuries.
Meanwhile, officials confirmed that the shooting started from a verbal dispute inside a dispensary in the area. Officers said that two Hispanic men were suspects in the shooting.
Also, authorities said that the crash involved three vehicles. It is still unknown if injuries were sustained in the crash.
