1 Killed and 2 Hospitalized in Tracy Auto Accident on Interstate 205 near 11th Street

 
TRACY, CA (March 22, 2021) – Sunday morning, a person died in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 205 near 11th Street.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident involved four vehicles. Moreover, it happened at around 1:40 a.m., on Interstate 205 near the 11th Street offramp.
 
Reports revealed that a vehicle traveling on I-205 attempted to make a turn, overcorrected, and crashed. Then, the vehicle rolled over and come to rest in the Number 2 and 3 lanes facing south. As a result, the driver and two passengers of the car were ejected from the vehicle.
 
Furthermore, another vehicle collided with the first car. A third vehicle then struck a person in the roadway. Then, a fourth vehicle attempted to stop but failed and collided with the second vehicle.
 
Moreover, responders transported the driver of the first vehicle and one of its passengers to the hospital with major injuries. The second passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Also, CHP closed the roadway for several hours to give way to the investigation.
