Fatal Vehicle Crash on Monterey Avenue in Thousand Palms

 
Thousand Palms, CA (October 1, 2020) – Thursday evening, one person died in a vehicle crash on Monterey Avenue.
 
The crash happened at about 8:20 p.m. on October 1.
 
Dispatched officers responded and found one person dead on the scene. An occupant was freed from a vehicle but it is unclear if that was the same person who died.
 
The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Updates will soon be released once available.
