Unidentified Victim Pronounced Dead after Multi-Vehicle Accident north of Molera Road in Castroville
Castroville, CA (May 10, 2020) – Early Sunday evening, one unidentified victim was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 1.
The California Highway Patrol responded upon receiving crash reports around 6:30 p.m., on May 10. Dispatched officers arrived and located two sprawled vehicles on the scene.
According to reports, two vehicles were involved in a collision that happened along Highway 1 north of Molera Road in Castroville. However, events leading up to the accident are still unclear.
Emergency personnel confirmed at least one victim dead on the scene. At this time, an active investigation remains ongoing.
Furthermore, officers closed the surrounding area along Highway 1 during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened.
